Arvind Kejriwal say sorry to Arun Jaitley over maligning case

New Delhi, Apr 2 Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha and Ashutosh, in a joint letter on Monday, sought an apology from Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the remarks made against him.

"Consequently, I unequivocally pull back every one of the allegations made by me in an inquiry whether made in print, electronic or web-based social networking against you. I offer my earnest conciliatory sentiment to you and your relatives for any mischief caused to your notoriety for being a result of my claim," Kejriwal's letter perused.

As per sources, the defamation suit by Jaitley has not been withdrawn, but a joint application is being filed for a pronouncement in light of the statement of regret by Kejriwal and other AAP leaders.

Jaitley had filed a Rs 10-crore defamation suit against Kejriwal and other AAP pioneers. Each of the six charged money related inconsistencies in the Delhi and District Cricket Association when Jaitley was its leader.
