44 people died in Japan heat waves

Tokyo, July 23 At least 44 people have died across over Japan as extreme heat waves keep on gripping the east-Asia country.

According to CNN, out of the 44 that have passed on since July 9, upwards of 11 lives were asserted on Saturday alone, with the mercury staying around the 38 degree Celsius mark in central Tokyo.

Meanwhile, the temperature took off past 41 degrees Celsius in Kumagaya, the highest According to any point recorded temperature in Japan. As per the Japan Meteorological Agency, the temperatures recorded have been around 12 degrees higher than the normal temperatures.
