New Delhi, July 17 After Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an all party meeting ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament on Tuesday, Union Minister Ananth Kumar said the result of the meeting was positive.
"All party was sure. All parties promised support for smooth working of the house. PM Modi requested that everybody let the session work easily," Kumar told media here.
"Congress and different parties pitched distinctive subjects amid the gathering. They can bring these issues up in Parliament likewise tomorrow. Modi government is prepared to chat on all issues and discover an answer for them," he included.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Vijay Goel, Congress pioneers Anand Sharma and Ghulam Nabi Azad, NCP leader Sharad Pawar and CPI leader D Raja were among the individuals who went to the gathering.
Monsoon session of the Parliament will start from tomorrow and will proceed till August 10.
The session will have 18 sittings. During the session, Triple Talaq Bill, which has been passed by the Lok Sabha and is pending in the Rajya Sabha, will be among the best needs of the administration to pass it.
The government will also push for constitutional status for the National Commission for OBCs. Other bills including National Medical Commission Bill and Transgender people (Protection of Rights) Bill will also be taken up during the session.
