Bangalore police identifies 159 properties of Vijay Mallya

Bangalore, July 5 Bangalore police through Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday presented a report under the steady gaze of Delhi's Patiala House Court expressing that they have identified 159 properties of liquor baron Vijay Mallya and United Breweries.

The Bangalore police have also looked for more opportunity to distinguish other extra properties.

Earlier on June 30, Mallya was summoned by an assigned court under Fugitive Economic Offenders to show up before it on August 27. The notice was issued to Mallya and others, regarding the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) June 22 application for proclaiming him as an outlaw financial guilty party and confiscated his properties.

Less than a week ago, Mallya ended his quietness over the contention encompassing him of defaulting on bank loans to the tune of Rs. 9000 crores.

The liquor baron, in a series of tweets, claimed that he had been falsely framed as the "poster boy of Bank default and a lightning bar of public anger".

He also repeated that he is bending over backward, in compliance with common decency to settle contribution with the banks, however in the event that politically-inspired variables meddle, there is no other option for him.

The 62-year-old is facing a trial for the UK Court to control on the off chance that he can be removed to India to confront charges for budgetary inconsistencies including a total amount of Rs 9,000 crore, as well as money laundering cases.
