AIADMK far-fetched to help no-confide in movement

Chennai, July 19 Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Thursday indicated that the AIADMK is probably not going to help the no-certainty movement against the Narendra Modi-led government.

The Andhra Pradesh TDP government on Wednesday moved the no certainty movement over exceptional class status issue to the state.

When asked about his remain on the no-certainty movement to be held tomorrow in the Lok Sabha, Palaniswami said that no gathering had supported Tamil Nadu on the Cauvery Water issue.

"We have not brought this (no-certainty movement). It is Andhra's issue. We battled for our requests of Cauvery Water Management Board for 22 days in Parliament. It was our issue. We slowed down the procedures of Parliament. Who came to us? Which state approached and helped us? Along these lines, it is brought by them (TDP). Each state has the privilege to do this. Along these lines, they are doing this," he said.

On the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament on Wednesday, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan accepted TDP's no-confidence movement and planned it for exchange on Friday.
