Johannesburg, July 27 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday re-attested India's support to African nations.
Addressing the 10th yearly BRICS summit in Johannesburg in South Africa, Prime Minister Modi emphasised on fostering peace and development in the African counties.
Prime Minister Modi stated, "Since the past four years my government has prioritised development and peace in Africa."
Discussing how India has lent a helping hand to developing nations around the world, he stated, "We have assigned line of credits worth $11 billion to in excess of 40 nations. Further, the Indian private area has put $54 billion in the African nations."
The theme of this year's BRICS summit is - 'BRICS in Africa - collaboration for inclusive growth and shared prosperity in the fourth industrial revolution'
