Representatives of Malaysian Indian Congress visit M. Karunanidhi

Chennai, July 31 Representatives of Malaysian Indian Congress on Tuesday went by the Kauvery hospital to meet the previous Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.

Malaysian Senate President Vigneswaran Sanasee stated, "for the benefit of Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), we touched base here to meet DMK Chief M Karunanidhi. He is a leader for Indians in Malaysia. We met doctors, Stalin and Kanimozhi too; everything seems ok by God's grace"

Prior this week, delegates of Sri Lankan President, Maithripala Sirisena also visited ailing previous Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi.

Wishing a speedy recovery to him, the assignment had additionally given over a letter from President Sirisena to the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) working president MK Stalin.

In the interim, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar additionally met Stalin and Kanimozhi at the doctor's facility on Monday.

Karunanidhi was admitted to the hospital following a drop in his pulse a week ago. The DMK chief, who is on intravenous anti-infection agents, was prior experiencing treatment at his Gopalapuram residence in Chennai.
