Supreme Court: Chief Justice of India is `master of roster`

New Delhi, July 9 The Supreme Court on Friday said there is no debate that the Chief Justice of India (CJI) is the ace of the program.

The apex court additionally said that the Chief Justice of India has the ability to allot cases in the best court since he is the first among measures up to in the legal.

Meanwhile, the top court refused to interfere with the petition of senior lawyer Shanti Bhushan, who tested the current program routine with regards to distribution of cases.

A bench containing judges A.K. Sikri and Ashok Bhushan articulated the judgement.

In April, Bhushan approached the top court to manage the intensity of CJI Dipak Misra.

In his petition, Bhushan looked for a beware of the forces of the CJI, who is the 'ace of the list' and apportioned knowing about cases to different courts.
