New Delhi, July 24 The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected the plea filed by previous fund serve P. Chidambaram's son Karti against the issuance of summons in the Aircel-Maxis case.
Karti's moved the plea after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on July 19 documented a crisp charge-sheet for the situation in a Delhi Court against 18 denounced, including Chidambaram, Karti, and select government authorities (serving and resigned).
Karti and his dad have been under the scanner of exploring offices, CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) for conceding Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) leeway to firm M/S Global Communication Holding Services Ltd for interest in telecom organization Aircel.
The FIPB approval was purportedly allowed in the year 2006 when Chidambaram was the back clergyman under UPA-I government.
