Jakarta, Aug 21 Indian shooter Sanjeev Rajput bagged a silver medal in the men's 50m rifle three positions event at the progressing 18th edition of the Asian Games on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old narrowly missed out on the first spot after scoring 452.7 points.
While Zicheng Hui of China completed over the platform with a score of 453.3 points, Takayuki Matsumoto of Japan made due with the bronze award in the wake of posting a score of 441.4 points.
Prior in the day, shooter Saurabh Chaudhary secured gold in the men's 10m rifle event, while Abhishek Verma settled for silver at the same event.
India's total medal tally at the ongoing 18th edition of the prestigious event now stands at eight with three gold, three silver and two bronze.
