Thiruvananthapuram, August 14 Senior Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader, E P Jayarajan was confirmed as a minister in the Kerala bureau on Tuesday. Kerala Governor Palanisamy Sathasivam regulated the vow of office and mystery within the sight of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Jayarajan will assume responsibility as the businesses serve.
He was previously appointed as Minister of Sports and Industries in Pinarayi Government in May 2016, however needed to resign in October 2016 after nepotism charges.
He resigned over a controversy that erupted on the appointment of one of his alleged close relative as managing director of an open segment organization. The said appointment of managing director was revoked citing reasons disconnected to the controversy.
