Gold rakhis with PM Modi's face engraved hit market

Surat, Aug 25 With Raksha Bandhan only multi day away, a gem retailer in Gujarat's Surat city is offering rakhis made of gold with profile photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani engraved on them.

This year the jeweler made 50 such rakhis, which ranges from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000 for each rakhi and every one of them have been sold out.

Jewellery shop owner Milan stated, "Our Prime Minister Modi, Chief Ministers of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh have done great work for our nation and they rouse millions over the world." The characteristics of the leaders have been engraved with a laser machine on gold plate.

He further stated, "Women are visiting our store to buy these rakhis as they feel propelled from these leaders. They feel that their siblings will also earn name and fame in their respective fields."

The jeweler further informed informed that out of 50 gold rakhis which have been designed for this present year, 47 of them have been sold out. He included that more requests are as yet pouring in.

Meanwhile, a client stated, "By tying this Narendra Modi rakhi, I would favor my sibling to accomplish something extraordinary like Prime Minister Modi."
