Supreme Court seeks Centre, WB Govt's reply on BJP workers kill

New Delhi, Aug 24 The Supreme Court on Friday issued notification to the Centre and West Bengal Government looking for their responses in the affirmed killing of three Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in the state.

The summit court was hearing an appeal to documented by BJP pioneer Gaurav Bhatia, who looked for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) test into the issue.

On May 30, a 18-year-old BJP workers named Tirlochan Mahato was found hanging from a tree in Purulia's Balarampur locale. Month after this episode, another BJP worker, Dulal Kumar was found dead in a similar way in a same district.

On July 28, one more BJP leader, Shaktipada Sardar was hacked in West Bengal's Diamond Harbor area.

The passings of three BJP leader had sparked an outrage in the state with the BJP blaming the Trinamool Congress for the assault.
