Akshay Kumar: Our film got just three cuts from CBFC

New Delhi, Aug 9 Akshay Kumar today said his film "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification with just three cuts.

There were reports that the film affirmation body had requested eight cuts yet Akshay said reports were not right.

"I read some place that we have been given eight or nine cuts. Be that as it may, it is not valid. We have been given three verbal cuts. I was amazed to peruse the news around eight cuts in the film," the performer told reporters amid a special occasion for the film here.

PM Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan frames the essential commence of "Latrine: Ek Prem Katha" however Akshay said he didn't do the film exclusively on the value of the content.

The 49-year-old performer will be seen playing a spouse attempting to win his better half back by building a can for her in the house.

Discussing her experience of working with Akshay and Kher in her sophomore film, Bhumi said she learnt a great deal from the couple about life.

Kher is happy to be a piece of a movie like "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" as it is a film which is engaging and in addition gives a decent message.
