इस्लामाबाद, 8 सितंबर: प्रधानमंत्री शाहिद खाक़ान अब्बासी ने पंजाब प्रांत में चीन द्वारा समर्थित 340 मेगावाट के परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र का उद्घाटन करते हुए पाकिस्तान की शक्तिहीन भूख हड़ताल के अवसर पर आज यहां एक बड़ी सफलता हासिल की।

पांचवां परमाणु संयंत्र सी -4 संयंत्र पंजाब प्रांत के मियांवाली जिले में चश्मा में स्थित है।

अब्बासी ने कहा कि परमाणु संयंत्र सस्ते ऊर्जा का स्रोत थे और पाकिस्तान ऐसे पौधों की स्थापना के लिए काम करेगा।

यह परियोजना चीन के सहयोग और सहयोग से पूरा हो गया है।

अब्बासी ने कहा कि सरकार पुरानी ऊर्जा की कमी से निपटने के लिए सभी ऊर्जा परियोजनाओं को फास्ट-ट्रैक आधार पर पूरा कर रही है।

अब्बासी ने परमाणु क्षेत्र में सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए चीन को धन्यवाद दिया। पाकिस्तान और चीन सक्रिय रूप से कई अन्य क्षेत्रों में सहयोग कर रहे हैं, जिनमें सड़कों, मोटरवे, हवाई अड्डों का निर्माण और पाकिस्तान रेलवे का उन्नयन शामिल है।

50 अरब डॉलर के चीन-पाकिस्तान आर्थिक कॉरिडोर (सीपीईसी) के तहत कई परियोजनाएं शुरू की गईं।
