SP: BJP government 'stifling the voice of discontent'

Lucknow, Aug 3 Samajwadi Party today said that the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh is "suppressing the voice of discontent" and that it will watch "Desh bachao, Desh banao" diwas on August 9, to challenge the 'counter individuals' approaches and 'collective legislative issues' of the decision agreement.

August 9 is seen as Kranti Diwas, a day to remember the memorable 'Quit India Movement' started by Mahatma Gandhi in 1942.

"The gathering will watch Kranti Diwas on Aug 9 as Desh Bachao, Desh Banao Diwas and all the locale central station alongside national president Akhilesh Yadav will be going to a rally in Faizabad area.

"The day will be used to register protest against BJP, which is stifling voice of discontent against it," Party spokesperson Rajendra Chowdhury said.

In BJP administration, he stated,farmers are ruined and women are unsafe, destiny of young people and students hang in balance to be paid to absence of right direction...SP will challenge it.

On August 9, SP's area units will raise voice against anti-people policies approaches and common legislative issues played by BJP government by holding public meetings, Chowdhury said.
