नई दिल्ली, 2 सितंबर अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर असंपीड़जनक प्रदर्शन के बाद हॉकी इंडिया ने आज राष्ट्रीय कोच रोएन्ट ओल्टमंस को हरा दिया।

उच्च प्रदर्शन निदेशक डेविड जॉन का कार्यभार तब तक होगा जब तक पुरुषों की टीम के सुचारु संक्रमण के लिए उपयुक्त प्रतिस्थापन नहीं मिल पाता है।

हॉकी इंडिया हाई परफॉर्मेंस और डेवलपमेंट कमेटी की तीन दिवसीय बैठक के दौरान यह निर्णय लिया गया, जो आज संपन्न हुआ।

हालांकि फेडरेशन ने इसे कई शब्दों में नहीं बताया, यह स्पष्ट है कि HI मालिकों को हॉलैंड के साथ प्रभावित नहीं किया गया है।

हॉकी इंडिया ने एक रिलीज में कहा, "मुख्य निर्णयों में शामिल होने के लिए मुख्य कोच रॉयलेंट ओल्टमैन शामिल हैं।"

New Delhi, Sep 2 Hockey India today sacked national coach Roelant Oltmans after a string of unremarkable trips at the international level.

High Performance Director David John will be in control till a suitable replacement is found for a smooth change of the men's team.

The decision was taken amid the three-day meeting of the Hockey India High Performance and Development Committee, which closed today.

In spite of the fact that the organization did not state it in the same number of words, it is evident that the HI supervisors are not impressed with the Dutchman.

"Key choices taken included Chief Coach Roelant Oltmans to step down," Hockey India said in a release.

"While Roelant Oltmans role as Chief Coach in enhancing the team' general wellness and cohesiveness has been valued, the outcomes are what matter and the execution of the group has not been steady or up to the coveted levels."

The power-stuffed meeting to assess the way forward for Indian hockey was gone to by more than 24 members in the course of the most recent three days.
