उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि भारत में स्विस पहाड़ों के लिए आकर्षण है और शायद यह बॉलीवुड फिल्मों द्वारा समर्थित है।

प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रस्ताव के बाद, संयुक्त राष्ट्र (संयुक्त राष्ट्र) ने 21 जून को विश्व योग दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया है।

स्विस राष्ट्रपति ने यह भी कहा कि भारत अपने देश में उच्च सम्मान का आनंद उठाता है क्योंकि "आप दुनिया के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र और एक देश हैं जो सार्वजनिक राजनीतिक भागीदारी में जितना महत्व देते हैं, उतनी ही हम करते हैं"।

उन्होंने कई स्विस लेखकों और यात्रियों को प्रेरित किया है, "उसने कहा।

"Indian teachings, for example, yoga now are a piece of regular daily existence of part of swiss subjects, additionally in my life, not ordinary but rather in a week after week life," Swiss President Doris Leuthard said here today while tending to a business session composed by industry chambers.

She likewise said that there is an interest in India for Swiss mountains and it is probably supported by Bollywood films.

Following a proposition by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the United Nations (UN) has declared June 21 as the World Yoga Day.
