Dhaka, May 23 Amnesty International has said that it has confirm that Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) killed around 99 Hindu civilians in August 2017.
Masked ARSA contenders killed scores of Hindus near a remote village named Kha Maung Seik, in the wake of propelling the planned assaults on 30 security posts and an armed force base in northern Rakhine state in the early hours of August 25, guaranteed Amnesty International on Tuesday.
Amnesty International came up with witnesses' statements, including eight Hindu ladies, who asserted they were snatched by the ARSA warriors and strongly changed over to Islam.
According to Dhaka Tribune, Amnesty International additionally said it had recorded murdering of six Hindus by these guerillas from Rohingya Muslim outfitted gathering close to the town of Maungdaw on August 26.
ARSA leader, Ata Ullah, earlier said it is fighting for the rights of the Rohingyas.
Rohingyas are a Muslim minority ethnic group in Myanmar, who have been viewed by numerous lion's share Buddhists as illicit migrants from Bangladesh.
