MHA: Security activities to stop in Jammu and Kashmir amid Ramzan

New Delhi, May 16 In a major decision, the Centre today asked that security forces not to launch operations in Jammu and Kashmir amid the heavenly month of Ramzan.

The decision has been taken to help the peace cherishing Muslims watch Ramzan in a tranquil domain, a home ministry representative said.

The security forces, be that as it may, claim all authority to strike back if assaulted or if fundamental to ensure the lives of innocent people, the ministry said.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has educated Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti of the central government's choice.

"It is important to isolate the powers that convey an awful name to Islam by resorting to mindless violence and terror," the representative said.

The government anticipates that everybody will collaborate in this activity and help the Muslim siblings and sisters to watch Ramzan calmly and with no troubles, the representative said.

The holy moth of Ramzan is likely to begin tomorrow or Friday depending on the locating of moon.
