Karachi, May 25 Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday said the Boao Forum was not an appropriate platform to discuss Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed with Chinese officials.
Abbasi said the issue wasn't discussed even before his participation in Boao Forum a month ago, Geo News reported.
Earlier, it was speculated that Chinese President Xi Jinping during the Boao Forum summit had suggested transferring Saeed to some other nation.
Saeed is the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror assaults.
Ten Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists had sailed to Mumbai in November 2008 from Karachi and completed facilitated assaults that murdered 166 people and injured over 300.
The case is now in its 10th year, however Pakistan is yet to punish any of the suspects.
