Rahul Gandhi blames Center for plunder by hiking fuel costs

Kolar, May 7 As battling in poll bound Karnataka enters its last leg, Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi asserted that the Center was plundering open for the sake of expanding fuel costs.

The Congress president, who rode a bike to challenge rising fuel prices in his 'Jana Aashirwada Yatre' in Kolar, spoke to people in general to end governance of those favouring corrupt leaders.

"The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) drove government has been plundering the poor to fill the wallets of individuals like Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi and Mehul Choksi. Fuel costs have been at an untouched high, yet nothing is being finished by the government on this," he said.

Lashing out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul addressed why the previous hadn't ordered the farmer credit waiver, regardless of farmers protesting continually for four years.

"Modiji says this election is in regards to him; this election is about the people of Karnataka. I need to ask him, where was he when rancher credit waiver was conceded in Karnataka? He further censured the Janata Dal (Secular), inquiring as to whether they were Janata Dal 'Sangh Parivar'.

The general population of Karnataka are anxious to know whether they will bolster us or the BJP," he included.
