Warmth wave condition to prevail in Delhi, Punjab

New Delhi, May 23 The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday said that warmth wave condition will prevail in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan for next four to five days.

"Temperature will be over 45 degrees. Parts of Delhi NCR, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh will experience dust storm on May 24."

The Central and Northern India keep on remaining under the hold of a warmth wave.

With the temperature taking off at or more 40 °C and in Uttar Pradesh, the burning sun is making it troublesome for the inhabitant of Allahabad to beat the warmth.

"The blazing sun and the hot breezes are strong to the point that it feels as though will torch us. The temperature is as of now at 46, yet it feels more hooter than this," said one of locals.

The people in Kanpur and Varanasi are also having an extreme time beating the heat.

To handle the scorching heat, Varanasi natives are drinking kulhad 'lassi' (buttermilk) and eating curd once a day.

Similarly, the people of Kanpur are depending on Lemon drinks and sodas to stay away from drying out.
