Rahul Gandhi says, My mom more Indian than many others

Bengaluru, May 10 Commenting on the industrious agrees over his Italian family line, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that his mom, Sonia Gandhi, was more Indian than numerous different Indians.

"My mom is an Italian but she has lived on a larger part of her life in India. She is more Indian than many Indian people I have met. My mom has sacrificed for this nation, my mom has suffered for this nation," Gandhi said at a press conference here.

Gandhi's statement came after a media individual looked for his reaction on the agrees revolved around his lineage, especially, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's current discourse, wherein he tested Gandhi to an open deliberation and said he could talk in any dialect he satisfied - "English, Hindi or (his) mom's native language."

The election for one constituency has been put off after the demise of B.N. Vijay Kumar, Jayanagar BJP applicant.
