Bengaluru, May 18 Following the declaration of a story test on Saturday, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Friday said that they are 100 percent sure of proving majority.
Yeddyurappa further said that he would educate the state's Governor Vajubhai R. Vala to hold a get together session at 11 a.m. tomorrow.
"According to the directions of the Supreme Court, we are expected to demonstrate our dominant part tomorrow. We are sending our record to the Karnataka Governor to call a get together session at 11 am tomorrow. We are 100 percent certain that we will demonstrate full dominant part," he told journalists here.
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court decided that a story test be led on Saturday at 4 pm for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to demonstrate their greater part in the state assembly.
The decision was taken after the top court heard the contentions for and against the request of documented by the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) on Governor Vala's welcome to the BJP to shape the legislature in the state.
In the interim, BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje oozed trust in demonstrating lion's share on the floor of the House.
"We welcome the Supreme Court's request. We will demonstrate greater part on the floor of the House tomorrow. We are prepared for the floor test," she said.
While the BJP has managed 105 MLAs (counting one Independent seat), they are still short of the halfway mark of 112 by seven MLAs and have been given 15 days to demonstrate their larger part in the Karnataka get together by the Supreme Court.
