Sonam Di Wedding: 'Veere' Swara Bhaskar, Kareena Kapoor opted for traditional attires

Mumbai, May 8 The festivities for Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor's wedding to Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja have just started here.

Superstar Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao, and actor Ranveer Singh were also present.

The guests opted for traditional attires for the special occasion, including Sonam's 'Veere Di Wedding' co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar.

Wearing a pink lehenga Kareena looked beautiful as she postured as an inseparable unit with her husband Saif Ali Khan and their child Taimur. The father-son duo looked picture perfect as they shading facilitated in pink kurta-pajama.

Going along with them was Karisma Kapoor, who looked beguiling in her pastel lehenga from expert architect Sabyasachi Mukherji.

Swara, in the mean time, looked brilliant in her blue Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla lehenga, which included brilliant weaving in it.

Following them were the Bachchans. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his children- Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Nanda - also colour-coordinated for the wedding in white.

Sonam's best friend Jacqueline Fernandez was grinning up close as she postured for paparazzi in her dull pink lehenga.

Wearing a traditional red lehenga with substantial ethnic gems and negligible make-up, Sonam Kapoor resembled an ideal lady of the hour as she looked all set to welcome the new period of her life.

Her groom Anand Ahuja, too matched up to the fashionista's style articulation in a beige achkan and a customary turban, included with a wonderful neckpiece.

Also in participation was 'Hichki' performer Rani Mukerji, who went for a dim blue lehenga with substantial brilliant weaving on it.

After the wedding, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be hosting a reception later this evening at The Leela. The clothing regulation for the same is Indian and western formals.
