Overwhelming rain lashes Chandigarh, authorities on alarm

Chandigarh, May 8 Heavy rain lashed Chandigarh and a few different parts of Haryana and Punjab on Monday evening. Nearby experts, as of now on alarm after an IMD cautioning, stayed careful and exhorted local people to exercise caution.

An thunderstorm cautioning has been issued by the IMD for a few states in northern India including Punjab, Haryana and the NCR. While Delhi and connecting regions did not perceive any precipitation till Monday evening, Chandigarh saw a substantial storm.
