Shivraj Chouhan: Congress has failed to give strong administration

Hubli (Karnataka), May 9 Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan, on Wednesday, recommended that the Congress has failed to give a strong leadership, as it is being helmed by Rahul Gandhi, who isn't considered important.

His comments came a day after Congress president Rahul Gandhi communicated his eagerness to wind up the Prime Minister after the 2019 General Elections.

"If you look at Congress leadership and the kind of governmental issues Rahul Gandhi is doing, when he says he can be the PM, nobody considers him important. Individuals believe he's envisioning. Congress has flopped in giving a solid administration," said Chouhan, who is crusading here for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Earlier yesterday, Gandhi, on being inquired as to whether he will end up being the Prime Minister if the Congress rises as the single biggest gathering after the 2019 general races, stated, "Truly, for what reason not."

His comments have collected boundless feedback from the BJP camp, as a few BJP pastors have freely condemned the Congress boss, with many claiming that he is envisioning, and his announcement reflects pomposity.

Elections in 224-constituencies out of 225 in the state are booked for May 12, while surveying in Jayanagar voting public has been deferred, following the destruction of BJP hopeful B. N. Vijay Kumar. The outcomes will be pronounced on May 15.
