People are either driving their vehicle to the neighboring region or getting fuel jars from there.

The locals said they are each frustrated with the soaring cost of the fuel in the nation and to spare some cash they bring the same from Nepal.

"Petrol cost in India is high and it is cheap in Nepal. We are forced to bring it from that point as we can spare some Rs 12-13 on one liter," said a nearby.

Taking cognisance of a similar Superintendent of Police, Sabha Raj said they will make strict move against those associated with the occurrence.

"I have been educated about the issue. We will make strict move against those included and will likewise take careful steps later on," he said.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 78.43 for each liter in Delhi and Rs 86.24 for every liter in Mumbai.
