Congress leader: 6 BJP leaders in contact with us

Bengaluru, May 16 Amid cases of MLAs being 'poached' by adversaries in Karnataka, Congress Party leader MB Patil guaranteed that six Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders were in contact with his party.

"We are all together. This (Congress and JD (S) leaders evolving sides) is false news. Indeed, there are six BJP people who are in contact with us," Patil told media here.

Meanwhile, Congress MLA NA Harris blamed the BJP of doing "bad politics", and included that the grand old party would not stoop down to that level.

"We need to protect the decision of the people. They (BJP) are doing awful governmental issues. We don't need to stoop down to their level. We are 118 in number; we don't need anybody," he stated, including that he was not called to any resort, against reports expressing something else.

Results of the Karnataka Assembly surveys declared on Tuesday evening demonstrated that the BJP won 104 seats, rising as the single biggest gathering, while the Congress and JD(S) stowed 78 and 37 seats, separately.
