Kathmandu, May 5 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal has formally declared the dates of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Nepal, which is on May 11 and 12.
It comes a day after it was formally declared by the External Affairs Ministry in a press briefing on Thursday.
"At the invitation of The Rt. Hon'ble K. P. Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, His Excellency Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, is paying a State Visit to Nepal on 11 and 12 May 2018. The Prime Minister of India will be concurred a formal welcome at Tundikhel in Kathmandu on 11 May 2018. The meeting dignitary will likewise investigate the protect of respect," the release from the ministry states.
Amid the visit, Prime Minister Modi will approach the President of Nepal- - Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun and the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on May 11, the primary day of his third visit to the Himalayan Nation amid his tenure.
Further, Indian Prime Minister will be approached by the Minister of Foreign Minister of Nepal Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
Alongside the political engagements, Prime Minister Modi will visit the religious sites of the nation including Janakpur and Muktinath, according to the Friday's official statement.
"Amid his stay in Nepal, Prime Minister Modi will also visit Janakpur and Muktinath. He will go to city gatherings to be composed in his respect by Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City in Kathmandu and Janakpur separately," the release includes.
Alongside the two partners will also establish the framework stone of Arun-3 Hydropower project, one of the biggest hydel undertakings of Nepal which will have the the direct investment of the State Bank of India.
