New Delhi, May 01 The Supreme Court, on Tuesday, guided all the High Courts to constitute a committee dedicated to expeditiously monitor and control all Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act cases.
The apex court has also coordinated the Director General of Police of the considerable number of states to shape a Special Task Force to guarantee that strict examinations are conducted on the same.
This comes in the wake of increasing incidents of rape of minors, with the Union Cabinet, on April 21, affirming a change in the POCSO Act, green-lighting the death punishment to rapists of kids below 12 years old.
