Itanagar, Jun 15 The Army opened fire on a villager mixing up him of being a ultra in Changlang area of Arunachal Pradesh, executing him on the spot.
The episode occurred on Wednesday night, barrier PRO Colonel Chiranjit Konwer said today.
In view of particular insight in regards to development of a hardcore terrorist group, the Army work force tested the person when he touched base at the spot.
The person distinguished as Thingtu Ngemu made "extremely suspicious movements" and surged towards the troop taking after which the Army opened fire, bringing about his demise, Konwer said.
