Centre may stop support if names of central plans changed

Midnapore, Jun 29 The Centre may stop funds to West Bengal for the usage of some central government plans on the off chance that it was discovered that names of those plans were changed, Union minister Ram Kripal Yadav has said.

"We have gotten grievances about West Bengal government changing the names of some central schemes. We are investigating the objections.

On the off chance that it was observed to be valid, the Center will think as far as halting assets to the state for implemention of the central schemes", the Union Minister of State for Rural Development said here yesterday.

The minister was here on a private visit to go to a family work.

Yadav had additionally gone to a Swachh Bharat extend at Salboni in a same district.
