New Delhi, Jun 30 Services on Delhi Metro's Violet Line were seriously hit amid the morning surge hours today because of a noteworthy flagging glitch.
Services slowed down along the whole passageway extending between Faridabad and Kashmere Gate after trains lost touch with the control centre, a metro official said.
As the incorporated control instrument snapped, trains must be physically controlled, from each station, on this segment between 8 am and 9 am, loading to long delays.
"The issue was settled at 9 am and trains are presently being regulated as per normal timetable on Line-6," a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) official said.
Prior this year, following force disappointments and ensuing loss of contact of trains with the control focus, administrations were injured on the Blue Line for two progressive days.
Trains had lost contact with the Operational Control Center, considered the nerve-centre of the metro network, because of sudden power disappointments, following which the option instrument of station-level taking care of was activated.
