PM Narendra Modi praises ISRO for satellite dispatch

New Delhi, Jun 23 Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hailed the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) for the successful polar satellite dispatch conveying 31 satellites, saying the space office has made the nation pleased.

ISRO's workhorse rocket PSLV-38 launched from the spaceport in Sriharikota toward the beginning of today, conveying the Cartosat-2 arrangement satellite - a committed satellite for the defence forces - alongside 30 co-traveller satellites.

"Congrats to ISRO on its 40th successful Polar satellite dispatch conveying 31 satellites from 15 nations. You do right by us!," Modi said in a tweet.
