Venkaiah Naidu: Congress prompting, politicising MP farmers' blend

New Delhi, Jun 8 Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today blamed the Congress for actuating and politicising farmers' mix in Madhya Pradesh and named Rahul Gandhi's arranged visit to the viciousness hit Mandsaur as "another photograph opportunity".

Addressing to reporters here, Naidu likewise rejected the Congress' request that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan venture down from his post in perspective of the passings of five dissenting farmers in police terminating.

Targetting the opposition party, he reviewed an episode in the state's Betul locale on January 12, 1998, where 24 farmers passed on professedly in police terminating requested by then boss pastor and Congress pioneer Digvijay Singh.

"The Congress is inciting and politicising the issue.

It ought to quit doing that and carry on as a dependable political party to help reestablish regularity there," Naidu said.

He named the party vice president's planned visit to Mandsaur, the hotbed of the progressing farmers' tumult, as "yet another photograph opportunity".

On Chouhan's renunciation, Naidu addressed whether Singh had surrendered from the post of boss clergyman after the ranchers, who were looking for pay after a hailstorm, were murdered.

"Did they look for renunciation of Singh when the 24 ranchers were murdered? Did the Congress VP visit the casualty ranchers at that point?" Naidu inquired.

The minister portrayed Chouhan as the most farmer-friendly chief minister and recorded welfare measures taken by the BJP-drove Centre and state government.
