Mumbai, Jun 22 Composer Pritam Chakraborty said making music for Salman Khan starrer "Tubelight" was a challenging project as he needed to make tunes that supplemented the circumstances and not overwhelm them.
Pritam, who has re-collaborated with Salman and chief Kabir Khan after their blockbuster "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", said he has formed the tunes keeping in the psyche the '60s period, in which the film is set in.
"'Tubelight' wasn't a simple collection to make. There were a ton of difficulties that I needed to overcome. The tunes are exceptionally situational and the circumstances were greater than the song.
In this way, the melodies must be with the end goal that they supplement the circumstances and don't overwhelm them," Pritam said in an announcement.
"The film is set in the 1960's and it was imperative for me to keep the embodiment of the tunes and the notes in that time. I couldn't utilise present day notes while creating the songs. Additionally, the songs couldn't be macho or cool due to the character Salman plays," he said.
The film also stars Sohail Khan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu in lead parts.
"Tubelight" hits film houses tomorrow.
