Hot and humid climate in Bihar

Patna, Jun 9 Hot and humid climate conditions won in many parts of Bihar today with Bhagalpur being the most smoking spot in the state at 38.5 degrees Celsius.

According to Met release, Gaya recorded greatest temperature at 37.0 degrees Celsius while Purnea's most extreme was 36.5 degrees Celsius and Patna recorded 35.8 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 32.6 degrees Celsius.

Patna and Gaya recorded more than 70 per cent of humidity while Bhagalpur and Purnea registered more than 80 per cent of moistness in the morning, it said.

Light to direct precipitation happened at many places in north east and north focal parts of Bihar with Bhagalpur and Purnea seeing 0.4 and 0.6 mm precipitation separately in recent hours.

In its estimate, Met office said that it will be mostly overcast sky with probability of rain or rainstorm for real urban areas of Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea tomorrow.
