PM Narendra Modi communicates despondency over Myanmar military plane crash

New Delhi June 8 Prime Minister Narendra Modi has communicated his trouble over the crash of a Myanmar military transport plane that was conveying 120 travellers.

"Profoundly disheartened at the shocking loss of Myanmar's military transport plane. India stands prepared to help inside and out in the recuperation efforts", the Prime Minister said in a tweet.

A Myanmar military flight has been absent with 120 people on board, a military spokesman told.

A scan for the plane has been propelled in the Andaman Sea, south and west of Myanmar.

Taking all things together, 106 travellers and 14 group members were on the flight, Capt. Myat Min Oo, a representative of the military in Myanmar, was cited, as saying.

For the safeguard operation, Myanmar's Armed Forces has dispatched six Navy boats and three planes. Additionally updates are anticipated.
