New Delhi, June 6 Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said that United States hauling out of Paris climate accord had come as a stun for India.
He trusted that Washington will reexamine its choice.
While initiating a two-day national level meeting on 'capacity Building of State Disaster Response Force-2017', Singh said it was reason for worry for India and the world group if a nation contemplates its own interests.
"U.S. President's announcements on Paris atmosphere accord were stunning. I trust USA will reevaluate over this choice. It must be found in what conditions the U.S. President put forth the expression on the Paris accord," he included.
Joined States President Donald Trump had asserted that India consented to the Paris climate arrangement to get "billions of dollars in outside guide", which earned him reactions from India.
Notwithstanding, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj rejected Trump's remark and affirmed that India has marked Paris climate pact not as a result of weight from any nation or because of the bait of money.
Trump pulled back the United States from the 2015 consent to cut emanations saying it undermined the nation's economy, cost US jobs, and put it off guard to other countries.
