Hamirpur/Shimla, Jun 21 Thousands of men, ladies and kids today thronged the immense "chaugan" (yard) of the past Katoch tradition rulers at Sujanpurtira in Hamirpur district to watch the International Day of Yoga.
The capacity was directed by Sri Ravi Shankar of the Art of Living society who was joined by Union Minister Smriti Irani and previous Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal.
Conquering substantial inclement weather, people partook in the activities.
Tending to the social event, Shankar said that yoga can change the human personality and body.
He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his endeavors get June 21 announced as the International Day of Yoga at the United Nations.
Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Dev Vrat drove the Yoga day occasion sorted out by the Army Training Command at the Annandale ground in Shimla.
