Mumbai, Jun 7 Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj trusts Deepika Padukone has the uncommon nature of being a hotshot and a decent performer.
Deepika will rejoin with her "Piku" co-star Irrfan Khan for Bhardwaj's up 'til now untitled creation, to be coordinated by Honey Trehan.
Vishal is happy that Trehan got the chance to work with a fantasy thrown in his very first film.
"I am more excited for my friend Honey, who has been with me throughout the last 20 years. He is fortunate to have this splendid a thrown in his initially film. I am very happy and excited to deliver the film," he told journalists the previous evening.
In the movie, Deepika will purportedly play mafia queen Rahima Khan, prominently known as Sapna Didi, while Irrfan will depict a neighborhood criminal, who is infatuated with her and encourages her in her central goal to dispose of Dawood Ibrahim.
Whenever inquired as to whether Deepika will do equity to the part, Vishal stated, "Deepika is one of the finest performing artists we have. She has a blend of a performing artist and a star. Rarely do we see a sperstar who is additionally a decent performing artist, she is one of that."
The film will start shooting in January one year from now.
