GJM supporters conflict with police in Darjeeling

Darjeeling, June 17 There were new conflicts in Darjeeling today with Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) nonconformists pelting stones and tossing bottles at security faculty who struck back by firing teargas shells.

As the inconclusive shutdown to request a different state entered its third day, police sources said that prohibitory requests were in drive in the whole region and nobody was permitted to take out parades.

GJM supporters disregarded the requests and took a parade.

At the point when police halted them, they flung stones and bottles.

Police shot teargas shells and used implement to scatter the group.
