नई दिल्ली, 1 सितंबर सरकार द्वारा हर महीने कीमतों में वृद्धि करने के फैसले के मुताबिक सब्सिडीकृत रसोई गैस (एलपीजी) की कीमत आज 7 रुपये प्रति सिलेंडर से बढ़ा दी गई है जिससे कि इस वित्तीय वर्ष के अंत तक सभी सब्सिडी समाप्त हो जाए।

इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन के अनुसार, देश की सबसे बड़ी ईंधन रिटेलर के मुताबिक 14.2 किलो की एक एलपीजी सिलेंडर का अब दिल्ली में 487.18 रुपए कीमत है।

तेल मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने 31 जुलाई को लोकसभा से कहा था कि सरकार ने सरकारी तेल कंपनियों को सब्सिडी वाले रसोई गैस की कीमतों में 4 रुपये प्रति सिलेंडर हर महीने मार्च तक सभी सब्सिडी को खत्म करने के लिए कहा था।

सरकार ने पहले आईओसी, भारत पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (बीपीसीएल) और हिंदुस्तान पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (एचपीसीएल) से सब्सिडी वाले घरेलू एलपीजी (लिक्विफाइड पेट्रोलियम गैस) की दर 14.2 किलो प्रति माह (वैट को छोड़कर) प्रति 2 रुपये तक बढ़ाने के लिए कहा था।

इसके साथ ही, तेल कंपनियों ने बढ़ती वैश्विक दरों के चलते एविएशन टरबाइन ईंधन (एटीएफ) की कीमतों में 4 फीसदी तक की बढ़ोतरी की।

एटीएफ या जेट ईंधन की लागत अब 50,020 रुपये प्रति किलोलिटर है, जो कि पूर्व में 48,110 रुपये से 1,910 रुपये अधिक है। यह वृद्धि 1 अगस्त से 2.3 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी के पीछे आ गई है।

इसके अलावा, सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली (पीडीएस) के माध्यम से बेचे जाने वाले केरोसिन की कीमत में प्रति लीटर 25 पैसे प्रति लीटर की बढ़ोतरी हुई थी।

केरोसीन पर सब्सिडी को खत्म करने के लिए सरकार एलपीजी के समान नीति अपना रही है। पिछले साल 1 जुलाई से प्रत्येक पखवाड़े में प्रति लीटर 25 पैसे प्रति लीटर की दर बढ़ा दी गई है।

दिल्ली को कैरोसीन मुक्त राज्य घोषित कर दिया गया है, लेकिन ईंधन की अब 22 रुपये की तुलना में मुंबई में 22.27 रुपये प्रति लीटर की लागत आई है। 1 जुलाई 2016 को केरोसीन की कीमत मुंबई में 15.02 रुपये प्रति लीटर थी।

राज्य के स्वामित्व वाली तेल कंपनियों ने पिछले महीने की औसत तेल की कीमत और विदेशी मुद्रा दर के आधार पर प्रत्येक महीने के पहले एलपीजी और एटीएफ की दरों में संशोधन किया है।

तेल मंत्रालय के 30 मई के आदेश से हर महीने एलपीजी की कीमत में आज का इजाफा चौथा है, जिससे प्रति माह 4 रुपये प्रति सिलेंडर की दर बढ़ाई जा सकती है।

देश में सब्सिडी वाले एलपीजी के 18.11 करोड़ ग्राहक हैं। इसमें प्रधान मंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना के अंतर्गत पिछले एक साल में 2.6 करोड़ गरीब महिलाओं को मुफ्त कनेक्शन दिए गए थे।

गैर-सब्सिडी वाले रसोई गैस के 2.66 करोड़ अन्य उपयोगकर्ता हैं।
