Siddaramaiah counter challenges PM Modi to speak about Yeddyurappa's accomplishments

Bengaluru, May 2 Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday counter tested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to talk about the accomplishments of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief ministerial competitor B. S. Yeddyurappa for 15 minutes.

Siddaramaiah's remark came a day after Prime Minister Modi challenged Congress president Rahul Gandhi to talk on the accomplishments of his gathering in the state without perusing from paper.

"Dear PM @narendramodi ji,

I challenge you to talk about the accomplishments of BS Yeddyurappa's Govt in Karnataka for 15 minutes by taking a gander at a paper.

Sincerely Siddaramaiah," Siddaramaiah Tweeted.

Earlier on Tuesday, while tending to an open rally in Chamarajanagar locale in survey bound Karnataka, Prime Minister Modi stated, "I move you (Rahul Gandhi) to represent 15 minutes on the accomplishments of your administration in Karnataka without perusing from any bit of paper. You can talk in Hindi, English or your mother tongue."

Preceding this, Rahul challenged the ruling government to enable him to speak 15 minutes in Parliament on different issues, including corruption and said the prime minister will not be able to sit for 15 minutes.
