Supreme Court rejects urgent hearing of Swamy's plea in Ayodhya case

New Delhi, May 2 The Supreme Court on Wednesday declined to give an earnest hearing to a specifying by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy, looking for a course to perform puja at the disputed site at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.

Swamy mentioned the issue before a bench of the zenith court, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra, who told the former, "Come to the apex court in July, we will perceive what would we be able to do."

It was not the first time that Swamy had argued the SC for a course to enable him to do puja at the debated site.

A week ago, the BJP leader looked for a critical posting of his supplication for the authorization of key appropriate to venerate at the site, which was dismissed by the apex court.

The top court is hearing a total of 14 requests recorded against the 2010 judgement of the Allahabad High Court in four common suits. They challenge the Allahabad High Court decision that commanded a three-path division of the debated 2.77-section of land site.
